My practice focusses on business transactions, intellectual property, commercial contracts, and real estate. I strive to understand each client’s specific needs and goals and to provide practical and targeted advice while helping clients form and operate business entities, secure and protect their intellectual property rights, and prepare and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts. I take the time to listen to my clients’ concerns and input, and provide pragmatic recommendations centered on the big picture best outcome for each client.

I moved to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark Law School, where I gained valuable experience counseling small business clients as a student intern and then law clerk at Lewis & Clark’s Small Business Legal Clinic. Before joining The Barnett Firm, I built a solo practice providing personalized guidance to small business clients through the process of creating and operating their business and securing and protecting their intellectual property rights (including disputes at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board). I combine my experience as a business owner and exposure to a wide range of legal business matters to provide effective representation to business owners of all types and sizes.

In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, cycling, playing music, and spending time with friends and family.
